Dear Eddie and `Ohana,
We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Naomi, your beloved wife and mother. Naomi wasn't just a neighbor; she was a cherished friend whose warmth and kindness touched our lives in countless ways.
From the moment we purchased our home in Kailua and came by to clean the yard one afternoon, Naomi and Eddie welcomed us into the neighborhood with open arms. They brought over lunch and we talked story for a while. Those early days, filled with laughter, soon blossomed into a beautiful friendship that spanned over five decades.
Naomi had a special gift for making everyone feel at home. Whether it was borrowing ingredients or sharing freshly baked treats, she always had a way of bringing people together. Her visits, filled with stories and laughter, became a cherished part of our lives.
We'll always remember the times Naomi helped us watch over our dogs or when we looked after Max. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her presence in our lives will be deeply missed.
Eddie, your unwavering love and support for Naomi were evident to all who knew you. Our hearts ache for you and your `ohana during this difficult time. Please know that we're here for you if you need anything.
As you navigate this loss together, may the memories of Naomi bring you comfort and peace. She will always hold a special place in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched and the next generation with your keiki and mo´opuna.
Ke akua pu, aloha nui,
Gil & Diane Kaohelaulii and `ohana
