NEIL FIELD Obituary

NEIL WILLIAM FIELD Neil was born in Fallbrook, California in 1940. He passed away peacefully at home in Kaneohe on November 23, 2025 after battling the effects of a stroke four years prior, surrounded by his wife Kathleen and caregivers. Neil graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with degrees in journalism and business, and met his wife of 60 years Kathleen. He then earned his Master's Degree in journalism at UCLA. He worked at Pacific Telephone in Pasadena, CA., and then moved to Hawaii in 1978 to join Dillingham Corp. as Director of Public Relations. Later he joined Ogilvy & Mather and migrated to The Schiller Group thereafter as Director of PR until retiring. For over 35 years Neil served on the boards of Manoa Valley Theatre and The Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu. Neil had a true love of life and keen sense of humor. He was an avid reader, traveler, sports lover and participant in golf and softball. He loved the LA Dodgers and UH Football. He will be missed by many. Private memorial to be held. Donations may be made in his name/memory to Manoa Valley Theatre and The Boys and Girls Club of Honolulu.
