Nicholas Nagel Obituary

NICHOLAS S. NICK NAGEL Nicholas Snider Nagel passed away at Queen's Hospital on January 18, 2026. Nick is survived by his wife, Jane, his sons William (Caitlin) and John (Ann), and his grandchildren, Will (Addison), Max, Felicity, Sarah, and Emma. Nick is also survived by his sisters, Barbara Krebs, Tina Nagel, and Meg Nagel and loving nieces and nephews. Nick's parents were William and Lucy Nagel and he grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. Nick and Jane met at CU and were married in Honolulu, HI in 1964 where they lived for most of the next 61 years. Nick loved his family and never missed a soccer, volleyball or water polo game, track or diving meet, if a son or grandchild was playing. Jane was the love of his life and their steadfast support has inspired their kids and grandkids for decades. There will be a Memorial service for Nick at Central Union Church, Atherton Chapel on Sunday, February 15 at 3:30 PM. Reception to follow in Atherton Courtyard. Burial at Oahu Cemetery.
