Nobuko Tamashiro Obituary

NOBUKO TAMASHIRO Nobuko (Sesoko) Tamashiro, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2024 at the age of 98, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Yonabaru, Okinawa, and later moved to HI with her Army veteran husband Takeyoshi & infant son. She really enjoyed eating sweets, watching Japanese shows, playing hanafuda cards, spending time with her Okinawan friends, and especially with her children and grandchildren. Nobuko lived a long and full life, and leaves her family with many cherished memories. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her husband Takeyoshi, survived by her children: Thomas (Ann Look), Jean (Wesley) Fujita, Wayne (June), Ray (Gwyn), Ben (Faith) of Clovis, CA, Davy, Paul and John (Cheryl) Tamashiro, numerous grandchildren & great- grandchildren.
