I went to the optometrist where Norma worked. She always was very helpful and helped me pick out frames that suited my face. One time I had my glasses
on the bed and I accidentally washed it with my bedding. When I discovered it, it was twisted and the lens had popped. Norma was able to save my glasses...a miracle worker. Over the years with all her help, she was a friend, too. I will miss her.

Not having seen my sister Norma over 50 year span I was blessed to have visited her a few weeks before she passed upon moving back to Oahu.
I wish we had more time together. I am thankful to all her friends here on the island that knew her and support her through the tough times.
