NORMAN LEVEY Obituary

I am so very sorry to hear of Dr Levey´s death. I worked with him at Kaiser Moanalua. He was loved by all his patients! We nurses thought so much of him too. He was generous and kind hearted to all. I loved his Halloween outfits when we all dressed up! :) My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.

Norm had a great sense of humor and was extremely smart ( as evidenced by his move from Detroit to Hawaii). I am sure he left many great memories that the family will continue to share over the years to come

I worked with Norm for many years at the KP Medical Center in Moanalua. I worked in the Dept. Of Psychiatry and was assigned to cover the medical center and the ED. Norm´s wit was similar to mine so we played off each other when he asked me to consult on cases. He wore a full beard in those days. Seeing his picture as clean shaven was a surprise. We were born three days apart in early January in the same year. He would talk about Detroit winters and I would share those stories with my wife who also grew up in Detroit. He will surely be missed by his patients and others who knew him. Requiescat in Pace.

Will miss his great sense of humor
