Norman Shinno Obituary

NORMAN TOSHIO SHINNO Norman Toshio Shinno, 64, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away on September 17, 2024 after gracefully living three years with pancreatic cancer. Norman was born on March 9, 1960 to Masako and Jimmie Satoshi Shinno in Lihue, Raised on the island of Kaua'i, Norman was a scholar athlete at Kauai High school, exceling in both baseball and basketball. He went on to earn a spot on the UH baseball team and a degree in civil engineering. He worked many years as the Manager of Grace Pacific Maui, Kauai, Lanai and Molokai island operations; Lastly serving as vice president of Nakoa Guam. Norman spent his time golfing, spending time with his Hale Bruddahs, traveling, studying the word of God and being the best Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. Norman is survived by daughter Rachael Ellebracht (Alex), son Ryne James Shinno and grandson Cole Ellebracht; former wife Jill Shinno, siblings Lucille Austin (Eric), Judi Young (Jed), Naomi Fukushima (Jesse), Eugene Shinno, and Gene Shinno (Barbi), Pat Tanaka, Carolyn Kanoho, and Ronald Shinno, partner Lisa Fulton, and many nieces and nephews. Service will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary on November 2nd at 11am, with a Public Viewing and Visitation from 10am-11am. Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel
