OKSANA ANNA SHIGEMURA Passed away on November 2, 2023. She was born in the Ukraine to Anton and Irene Lutsky. When Ukraine was invaded, the family fled to a refugee camp in Germany. After a period of time, they were able to emigrate to the United States and settled in Pittsburgh. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Oksana was hired by CBS, NYC in their research department. She met her future husband, Norman, at the Ukrainian resort in the Catskill mountains of New York. They were married in the Ukrainian Catholic Church in the Bronx and moved to Hawaii. She is survived by Norman, son Jonathan, daughter Sonya (James) Hearn of Philadelphia and sister Dorothy Lucky. Private service and interment. Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary Chapel
