PATRICIA NAKAMURA Obituary

PATRICIA L. NAKAMURA Patricia Lanette (Silva) Nakamura was born in Honolulu to Elsie and Oliver Silva on April 5, 1941. She attended St. Anthony's, Ma'ema'e Elementary, Kawananakoa, and ended up as a McKinley Tiger. She met her husband at a young age, gave birth to Debbie, and worked at Kuhio Theater before she moved to Kaneohe and purchased her first home. She had Colette and started working night shifts at Stork Cafe as a single mom. She met Raymond and they married on April 20, 1968, and had April. Patricia was a stay-at-home mom and was always there for her children and husband. She was blessed with two grandsons, Nicholas (Eun Hae) and Patrick (Kapu) and five great-grandchildren: Puamana, Tapumanaia, Lily Grace, Kaihikapuamanuia, and Kawaieli. She loved good conversation, shopping, eating out, and dancing. She was passionate about growing anthuriums and orchids. Patricia is described as kind, funny, feisty, courageous, and compassionate. She loved God, her family, her friends, and her dogs, Max and Jiro. Patricia is survived by her husband Raymond; daughters: Debbieann Silva, Colette (Chris) Salanoa, and April Nakamura; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings: Eugene Silva, Lutricia Green, Bernadette Frost. Visitation: 5:00 p.m.; Services: 6:00 p.m. on September 14, 2023, at Hawaiian Memorial Park with dinner to follow. Burial: 10:30 a.m., September 15th, at Diamond Head Mortuary. Patricia has made a lasting impact on everyone that was blessed to have her in their lives. She will be missed and never forgotten.
