Penny was a singular force, transforming Ken Crowe´s unfinished cave of a house into a welcoming home, gathering his children together for family dinners, wedding celebrations, and holiday events.
She supported Ken´s career by welcoming his students and colleagues into their home, treating them to similarly wonderful meals.
We hope these memories of Penny´s life with Ken can provide some comfort to her family and friends.
Our condolences- Christina Sears, Laura Mankikar, Gabrielle Bardales, Catherine Crowe, and Timothy Crowe (Ken´s children)

Penny was my roommate in 1960 when we both arrived in Vancouver. We shared a lot of fun-filled experiences. I also served as one of her bridesmaids when she married Ross Filipponi. She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her...and thankful for our past friendship & memories. RIP dear Penny.
