Peter Nelson Obituary

PETER WILLIAM NELSON Peter Nelson, of Aiea, passed away on November 11, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Born on July 20, 1946 in Barryville, New York, he was an amazing father and great husband. He served in the United States Navy for 22 years, and worked for the State of Hawaii for 14 years. He loved playing golf, riding horses, fixing anything--especially cars, and above all, spending time with his loved ones. He is survived by his wife Lilung "Lisa" Nelson; son Tyler Nelson; three stepchildren, David Komiyama Jr., Caryn Komiyama, and Daniel Komiyama; and six grandchildren. Visitation at 10 am. Service at 11 am on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Nuuanu Memorial Park and Mortuary. Inurnment to follow at 3 pm at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
