Nancy "Pazz" Pazeotopoulos

May 14, 2024

It is with great sadness that I learned today of Phil's passing. What an incredible human being he was. I am the Nancy "Pazz" Pazeotopoulos, widow of Andy "Pazz" Pazeotopoulos, one of Phil's lifelong friends. Please accept my deepest and sincere condolences.

Phil and Andy played ball in high school and attended Portland State together. I recall Phil always mentioning whenever he saw us how he absolutely loved Andy's mother who loving prepared the many "Greek goodies" he enjoyed in those early days.

It was Andy who called Phil one day in 1963 to say he wanted Phil to move to Hawaii with him. Phil was most obliging at the idea and when Andy returned to Oregon in 6 months Phil remained to later meet and fall in love with his gorgeous wife, Mary, all the kids, and all that Hawaii had to offer. And not to forget his very precious dogs.

He was the kindest and most sincere gentleman I ever knew. To say I will miss him is somehow just not enough. But I know that he and Andy are together now with all their dogs, cats, and lifelong friends laughing and enjoying one another again.
