PHILLIP DUTCHER Obituary

PHILLIP C. DUTCHER Phillip Charles Dutcher, aka Phil Dutcher, passed away peacefully at home in Waikiki on July 10, 2022. Phil was born May 30, 1936, in Seattle, WA. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Tiare; his son Jetsun, Jetsun's wife Amanda and their daughter Liliana; his daughter Lia (Brown) and her sons, Tyler and Cody; Phil's two sisters Carolyn Jones and Dorothy Lewis and their families, and his brother James Lewis and his family. Phil was a special person who was able to talk to everyone he met. He was also known as the "Mayor of Magic Island" by his many friends who walked at Magic Island. Phil and his wife arrived in Hawai'i in August 1969 aboard their 38' sailboat after having sailed around the South Pacific for almost three years. He is much missed by all who knew this exceptional man. Private services were held in October 2022.
