Raymond Pang Obituary

RAYMOND BUNG SUM PANG JR. Raymond Bung Sum Pang Jr, of Pearl City, returned to ke Akua and our Kupuna on July 7th 2023 at the age of 76. He is survived by his Mother Minerva Pang and siblings Vernon, Myrna, Norman, Winona, Douglas and Lorene, his eldest child Tiffany and her son Ethan, and son's Nicolas Pang and Zachary Pang. Ray was born on November 30th 1946 to his parents Minerva Kalauhiwaokalani Malakaua Pang and late father Raymond Bung Sum Pang Sr. He was a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools co '64. Chaminade University Graduate co '79, Ray served both in the Army and Honolulu Police department retiring from HPD '94 and MP with Army Reserve. His legacy will continue to live on through us as we carry his good humor and wisdom into the future and grow our families. We will always cherish the memories of a simple and honorable man who loved us all. The Pang 'Ohana would like to invite all family and friends to attend a celebration of life in his honor this Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nu'uanu Memorial Park's East Chapel. Visitations will begin at 4:00pm and Memorial Services from 4:45pm to 6:00pm with Food to follow. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
