Raymond Suhl Obituary

RAYMOND RAY EDWARD SUHL R: Redeemed A: Affirmed Y: YOURS! Raymond (Ray) Edward Suhl, age 82, of Mililani, HI was called home to the Lord on the morning of October 19, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Ray was born on November 13, 1942, in Rochester, NY and later relocated to Hawaii with his love, Ellen Lee Suhl, where he found his true place in the world - in the warm sun and on the beach. Ray enjoyed being near the ocean, racing cars and dirt bikes, working with his hands - whether that be working on cars, gardening or building beautiful gazebos - and great music. To know Ray was to know the epitome of hard work, talent, dedication, loyalty and maybe a little stubbornness. He was a gifted musician, band instructor, Dale Carnegie instructor, Hawaii Area Manager for Castrol, and a dedicated member and former elder / moderator at Kalihi Union Church. Ray is survived by his wife, Ellen Suhl (Lee), Daughters, Cheryl Ferguson (Glen), Lisa Taylor (David), Grand Children, Ashley Lee (Morgan), Anthony Marino (Chelsea), Celeste Ferguson, Cassandra Taylor (Andrew) and Great Grand Children, Harrison Lee, Grayson Marino, Owen Lee, and Shiloh Gromala. Services for Ray will be held at Kalihi Union Church in Honolulu, HI on his birthday, November 13, 2025. Visitation will begin at 4pm with Service at 5pm
