REN MIYASAKI Obituary

REN ISAO MIYASAKI Of Honolulu - Ren Isao Miyasaki, 15, passed away on January 16, 2024 at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, California with his parents at his bedside. He was born on November 28, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, the son of Roy T. and Seiko Takamoto Miyasaki. Ren was a sophomore at Pearl City High School on Oahu. He was active in the Atlas club his Freshman year, a student at Roy Sakuma Ukulele studio, and a passionate member of the Asian Lion Dance team from 2015. Shortly after beginning his 10th grade year, Ren needed a Heart Transplant and was given the gift of life 27days later on October 24, 2023. Due to unforeseen complications, he passed away peacefully. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his twin brother Rhys Reiji Miyasaki. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. and A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 at Nuuanu Mortuary, 2233 Nuuanu Avenue, Honolulu 96817.
