Myron Yamashita
April 20, 2024
My name is Myron Yamashita from Honolulu. I served with Sgt. Uchima with the 101st Airborne Division in Viet Nam 1968-69. We lost touch, and I always wondered what happened to Sarge. About 11 years ago, I bumped into him at his Aikido class in Mililani. My SIL back then reconnected us. It was good to know he made it out of Vietnam and led a good life. Aloha, Sarge!
