ROBERT BEAN Robert "Bob" Bean passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. Bob was a devoted animal lover and served for many years on the board of the Hawai'i Humane Society. He also served on the boards of the Hawaii Community Foundation and the Hawaii Museum of Art, reflecting his deep commitment to the community and the arts. An avid traveler, Bob embraced life fully, especially after selling his company, Alert Alarm, which allowed him to spend more time exploring the world. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for family, animals, and community. Bob is survived by his wife, Frances Bean; his daughter, Naomi Salaveria; his son-in-law, Luis Salaveria; his grandchildren, Maria Salaveria, Luke Salaveria, and Joy Painter; and his great- grandson, Robert Painter. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026.
