ROBERT SCHOCH JULY 10, 1941 - FEBRUARY 23, 2024 We regretfully announce the passing of Robert Schoch on February 23, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on July 10, 1941, Robert was a devoted husband to Fay Rawles-Schoch, a loving father to Lydia Bauch, Brendon Schoch, Julie Schoch Jackson, and Malia Schoch-Rodriguez, and a cherished sibling to brother, Gerald Schoch and sisters Debbi Stout, Marilyn Traut, and Shirley Curl. A respected fi nancial planner and insurance salesman, Robert was also known for his enduring passion for learning, regularly attending courses at the University of Hawaii. Around campus he was known as UH's "notorious professional student". His warmth, wisdom, and humor touched many lives, leaving a lasting legacy of love and kindness. Robert's extraordinary impact and joyful presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on February 29 at First Presbyterian Church of Honolulu, with donations requested to the Windward YMCA Healthy Lifestyle department in lieu of fl owers, honoring Robert's generous spirit.
