ROBERTA MARIANO Obituary

ROBERTA LYNETTE (YOUNG) MARIANO 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children and daughter-in-law on Saturday, June 21, 2025. Roberta was born on October 6, 1937. She was the second of four children. Preceded in death are her parents, Henry and Margaret Young, brother James Young, and sister Barbara Nishizawa. Roberta worked for the City and County of Honolulu Data Systems until her retirement. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by daughters, Valerie (Theresa) Mariano, Stephanie (Michael) McGowan, and Raynette Mariano; son, Ryan Mariano; 15 grand- children; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Henry (Janice) Young Jr. A funeral service will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park & Funeral Services (45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe) on Saturday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception at noon and burial at 2:00 p.m.
