ROCKY GILDING Obituary

ROCKY ROY GILDING 67 yrs old was born in Honolulu, passed away peacefully on December 5th 2022 at home in Punalu'u, Oahu with his wife beside of him. He was a proud alumni of the class of 1973 of Saint Louis High School, "Once a Crusader always a Crusader," resounded so true in his life. An active member of Kaneohe Congregational Church. He supported numerous ministries, such as God Centered, God Led a Men's Ministry. He was a husband, father, grand- father, son, friend and "uncle" to many that brought him much joy. How he loved the Lord til his very last breath here on earth first breath in heaven. Rocky is survived by his wife Gail, his sons Kaulana (Kristi), Dustin "Kainoa" and Macks Gilding. Grandsons Kawika and Kaimana, father Albert Gilding, mother Sybil Shrinski, stepchildren Liana Kilaulani, Devie Nakamura, Daniel & Alika Durington. Lastly his loving, loyal, protective companion our I Ka Pono who stayed alongside his papa to the very end. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd 2023 at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Visitation at 9:30 a.m.; Service at 10:30 a.m. His ashes will be scattered at sea Sunday, April 23rd 2023.
