ROLAND KOUKE Obituary

ROLAND TADAICHI KOUKE 72, of Hawi, Hawaii, passed away on February 28, 2025 at the Kohala Hospital, Kapaau. He was born on April 23, 1952 and grew up in Maunawili Valley on Oahu. A Kailua High School Class of 1970 graduate, became a journeyman carpenter and building contractor. Over the many years in the trade he left his handiwork on many homes and structures on Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. Roland was always keen on perfecting his craft skills and enjoyed many hobbies. He will be dearly missed by all. Survived by sister Toshiko Mary (Andy) Rosenau, brothers Wil (Robin) and Les Kouke, nieces: Naomi (Wayne) Davidson, Robin Rosenau, Kristin Kouke; nephew Bradley Kouke. Memorial service held on March 29, 2025, in Kapaau on the Big Isle. Private inurnment services were held April 7, 2025, on Oahu.
