Ronald Early Obituary

EARLY, Ronald Benjamin Sr., of Midlothian Virginia, passed away peacefully at 80 years old on March 23, 2024. Born May 2, 1943, in Madison County, Virginia, he was the son of the late James Banks Early II and Virginia Bell Early. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Tanya C. Early. He was survived by his brothers James B. Early III (Nancy), Thomas S. Early (Ellen), Jeffrey C. Early (Eileen), and cousin Christopher C. Earhart (Becky), and his son Ronald Benjamin Early Jr. (Lowry), daughter Mary Heather Selck (Paul), granddaughter Mary C. Early, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Once completing his education, Ron embarked on a successful career in banking and real estate. Ron was an avid fan of UVA sports and enjoyed many tailgates with his family. While he enjoyed watching any and all televised sports, he had a particular affinity for College Football, College Basketball, and NASCAR. Ron enjoyed taking trips to his hometown of Madison County as well as vacationing on the shores of the Outer Banks. He had a love for dogs, especially his dearly missed and beloved Bichon Frises, Madison, and Beau. Ron will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. His kindness, generosity, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to local animal shelters in Ron's memory.
