Ronald Yokota Obituary

RONALD M. YOKOTA, LEAD Ronald M. Yokota (Lead) left us peacefully on August 9, 2025. He was born on October 8, 1934. He grew up in Waipahu Plantation with his father Masato, mother Yoshino and brother Milton. He retired from DOD Navy, as OINC (Officer in Charge) of the civilian workers in the Pacific. He was a graduate of Saint Louis High School and received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University with an MBA from UH. He is survived by his son Daven, daughters Allison (Steffen) Teichmann; Shelley (Garret) Masuda; Denise (Paul) Asuncion. Grandsons Adrian (deceased); Dylan (Meghan); Daniel (Dahlia); Evan (Qiqi) Teichmann; Khalon Asuncion and 3 great grandchildren. He was an avid reader, loved the ocean, fishing, carpentry and the sciences. His quiet demeanor and wisdom, brought peace, stability and strength to all around him. Ahui Hou dad, grandpa, brother and uncle! You are forever loved and will be forever missed. We are glad that you are at peace and reunited with your first love Alice. *Private service was held.*
