Rosita Bachiller Obituary

ROSITA BACHILLER Rosita Bachiller, age 90, passed away on August 2nd, 2023 at Maui Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 20, 1932, to Teofilo and Demetria (Asibal) Gonzales in Paia Maui, Hawaii. She attended Farrington High School. In 1959, Rosita met & married Benie Bachiller, the son of Thomas and Ramona (Millare) Bachiller, in Honolulu, HI. Together, they have three children including stepchildren. She enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with family to the 9th Island, Las Vegas, NV for open ended celebrations. She also loved cooking meals for her family & doing quiet word puzzles when time permits. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosita is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years and her parents. She is survived by her son Benie T. Bachiller of Kahului Maui, HI; stepson Benie Pave (Jaye) of Waianae Oahu, HI, and Frank Pave of Waianae Oahu, HI.; daughters Rose A. Apo of Kahului Maui, HI and Joanne L. Terai (Jason) of Waipahu Oahu, HI; step- daughter Evelyn Wentling (Richard) of Waianae Oahu, HI.; and her sister Conception G. Lanet of Waipahu Oahu, HI.; step- grandchildren 41; and step- great-grandchildren 31. Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, September 22, 2023 at Valley of the Temples Mortuary, 47-200 Kahekili HIghway, Kaneohe, HI 96744. Scheduled to date as follows: 9:30 a.m. public viewing; service 10 a.m.; food and fellowship 11 a.m. and burial will be at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery in Hawaiian Memorial Park.
