Roy Yonaoshi Obituary

ROY YONAOSHI Roy Yonaoshi, 73, passed away on October 14, 2024 in Khon Kaen, Thailand. Born and raised in Honolulu, Roy graduated from Roosevelt High School before embarking on a career in commercial lending. After retiring, in 2013, Roy moved to Thailand where he built his dream home, farm, and fish pond. With his love for golf and a great time, he could often be found on the course, range, or the 19th hole. Roy's life was marked by the deep relationships he fostered and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. Roy is survived by his spouse, Siriprapa 'Kwan' Saenmat and her son; daughter, Lee (Wade) Watanabe; son, Bryce (Colin) Yonaoshi, and two grandchildren. A service to celebrate his life will be held on November 8, 2024, 5:00 p.m., at Manoa Valley Church.

Sorry that I missed this about your passing late last year Roy. I will always cherish and remember our playing tennis with the gang in the 1980s at Honolulu Country Club, Salt Lake, Honolulu, HI. Thank you for all the fun moments and laughter. My best wishes and condolences to your wife and family! Aloha oe my friend!!
