Russell Carlson Obituary

RUSSELL CARLSON Russell Carlson, M.D. died on January 6, 2025 at the age of 89 in Issaquah, WA. He was born in Illinois, attended Earlham College in Indiana and University of Illinois Medical School. After serving in Vietnam with the US Army, he did an Anesthesia Residency in Chicago and then settled in Honolulu, HI in 1970 where he practiced Anesthesia at Queen's Hospital and was associated with the University of HI School of Medicine. He is survived by his wife, Judith, daughters Christy Fields (Andrew), Melissa Watterson (Paul), Cara Wolfley (Travis), 5 grandchildren, and brother Warren Carlson. He chose the Willed Body Program at the University of WA where his love of science will continue to be served.
