He was a great friend. Very caring and with his handshake there was always a smile and a gentle message of wisdom and encouragement. He and Sister Zakimi were loved by everyone and will surely be missed by all. "We will always remember fondly the footprints of this great man." Aloha 'oe, brother Zakimi, from the Kaiama 'ohana (Anuenue Ward)

Our dearest Bishop Zakimi. We have so many fond memories of Zak. The sweetest, kindest man we ever knew. A friend to all and a true disciple of Christ. We learned from his wisdom and were honored to know him and call him our hero. It was such a privilege to visit him every few weeks on our mission. We know he is having a wonderful reunion with his sweet wife Lynn.
Aloha Always Bishop Zakimi
