Sally Ishii Obituary

SALLY SEIDLER ISHII 80, Sally, passed on Feb. 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at The Queen's Medical Center. Born in Berea, Ohio on Jan. 14, 1943, her family was dad Carlton, mom Minnie and older brother Terry. Sally graduated from Berea HS '61 and Ohio State '65. Then she worked as a stewardess for Pan Am based in San Francisco. In 1966, during a Pan Am layover in Tokyo, Sally met USAF Captain Thomas Ishii, Jr. of Honolulu. Sally and Tom were married in Vacaville, CA on Jan. 7, 1967, and soon moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming due to Tom's USAF reassignment. During this time, they were blessed to have sons Wade and Jon. In 1972, Sally and the boys moved back to Berea with her mom while Tom was deployed for Service in Vietnam. In 1973, the family found a home in Hawaii Kai. In 1984 Sally graduated from U of H School of Nursing and started her RN career at Queen's. In 2013, Sally & Tom moved to Koko Head where on Sundays 3 generations would have family dinner: Tom, Sally, Wade, Dailyn, Wyatt 17, Warner 15, Jon, Erica & Isla 16. Sally would want that tradition to continue! Services will be held on Sat., April 15, 2023, at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. 10:00am Visitation, 11:00am Memorial Service.
