SALLY SADAKO TAKEMURA 87, of Honolulu, who brightened the day for so many people with the beautiful pikake leis from her Diamond Head farm, passed away on November 13, 2023. She was born on January 9, 1936 in Honolulu. She is survived by her son, Greg; daughter, Elaine (Dan) Everest; brother, Francis (Clara) Morikawa; and 2 grandsons. Services will be held on January 12, 2024 at 5:00 pm at the Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary with a reception to follow. No flowers. Casual attire. The scattering of ashes at sea will take place on January 14 at 9:00 am at Ala Moana Beach Park. Canoes will depart from the Magic Island boat ramp. Family requests flowers to be scattered with the ashes (no leis or wreaths). Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
