Shannon was my student and my friend and was very very dear to me. I just found out about his passing. I am absolutely sure he is in Heaven with the other Angels because he was certainly an Angel here on earth. He is and will be deeply deeply missed until we all meet again one day. In the meantime, the kindness and joy he brought us will remain embedded in our hearts.

So sorry for Mom and the family. Shannon had a work placement in my state office. He was a star athlete for Special Olympics and participated in the Special Olympics World Games in Ireland, winning many medals. He was friendly and open with his friends. We will miss him.
