Stanley Yagi Obituary

STANLEY SEIKI YAGI born on May 12, 1939, 86, of Aiea, retired salesman at Sears, Roebuck, passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born in Honolulu to the late Seizun Yagi and the late Hisayo Nakamoto. He is survived by his wife, Jane Mitsue Tokuhara Yagi; sons, Randin A. Yagi (Pamela) and Jerard S. Yagi (Rumi); daughter, Tammy Yagi-Barrett; 7 grand- children; brothers - the late Herbert Morio (Toshiko); the late Henry Seikichi; the late Richard Yoshio (Takako); the late Danny M (Mickie); sisters, the late Doris Aiko (Richard, deceased) Asato and Jean Yasuko (Charles, deceased) Tamashiro; brother-in-laws - the late Larry Kenichi (Patricia) Tokuhara, Harry Kenji (Sandy) Tokuhara, and the late James Yoshio Tokuhara; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Stanley was a proud "Bulldog" from Kaimuki High School Class of 1957. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Korea. Stan was an avid University of Hawaii sports fan and coach of baseball and softball teams for Pirates Athletic Club in Captain Cook, Kona. He was also a member of Okinawa City-Goeku Son and New Hope Oahu. Stan had a profound love of animals, particularly dogs, birds, and fishes. Visitation at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services begin at 11 a.m. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
