Stephen Leong Obituary

STEPHEN LEONG Stephen Leong passed away in Honolulu December 14th 2024 at age 77. Born in Lihue, Kauai on November 5, 1947 to Edwin and Dorothy Leong. He graduated from Kauai High School and then went on to serve 2 tours for the Navy in Vietnam. After he exited the military he attended college and received a B.S. in Political Science. He then became a food salesman for P&E Foods until his full retirement in 2022. His whole life he has enjoyed radio controlled airplanes and helicopters. As well as motorcycles and cars. He was well known for driving around in his bright yellow hot rod (1948 Anglia) with the license plate "JUJUS-1". Every Sunday he would look forward to going out riding with his friends. He is survived by his wife Laura and his daughter Alicia (Juju). A public memorial service will be held on February 22, 2025 at Nuuanu Memorial Park. Visitation will start at 3pm followed by a service at 4pm. His final resting place will be at Punchbowl Cemetery. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
