Stephen Odo Obituary

STEPHEN AKIRA ODO Stephen Akira Odo, 78, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on the evening of January 16, 2025. Stephen was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 11, 1946, to parents Teruo and Doris Odo (predeceased). He is survived by his wife Caroline Odo, 5 children, Kenton Odo (Kris), Carrie Ann Tam Sing (Darby), Travis Odo (Marissa), Mitchell Odo (Erin), Vickie Kurisu (Weston), 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, 3 siblings Jeannie Fujikawa, Michael Odo (Irma) and Patrick Odo (Wendy), and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Stephen was a graduate of St. Louis High School. He retired from federal work at Pearl Harbor as an Electronic Technician. His true passion was his family. He relished in the accomplishments of his children & grandchildren and celebrated their advancements in their education, careers, and sports goals. To him, the success of his family was his priority. Not often do you see a person so selfless that his loved one's goals became his goals. We will bid him aloha on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation at 10:00am, Service at 11:00am Rest in peace. You'll forever be in our hearts. Arrangements Provided By: Diamond Head Mortuary
