Sunday Schlaegel Obituary

Sunday Mae Schlaegel (née Sharon), born on May 27, 1956, in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away on September 3, 2025, in Columbus, Ohio.

Sunday dedicated their professional life to caring for others as a certified medical assistant at OSU Family Practice in Gahanna, Ohio.

Sunday was the beloved parent of Michael Schlaegel and sister Sandy Sharon. Sunday was also a proud grandparent to four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sunday shared many years with their longtime boyfriend, Dan Barnett, whose companionship brought joy and comfort.

A memorial service will be held in Sunday's honor, with details to be announced at a later time.

Sunday I met she lived next door to me, she was my best friend.we went to movies when we could. We went to same dedicated building there were 3 of us Angiela me and Sunday. They called us the 3 Amigos. I will never forget her. I was Blessed to know her.

Sunday was such a great friend in school. She has the most beautiful personality and sense of humor! Her eyes were piercing and everyone loved her. She and Jim used to come visit Steve and I back in the day when our kids were small. Memories, that's all we have. She will be missed.
