I just recently learned of Susan´s passing, and I´m so heartbroken. I worked with her at the FBI and have known her for 37 years. I was with her on her first trip to the mainland, and we had a great time and so many great memories, especially her first time seeing the Atlantic Ocean when I took her to my home in Virginia Beach. Her first question was, "You swim in this?" I also took her to her first big amusement park (Kings Dominion) and she rode her first big roller coaster. I don´t know how she did it, but she was almost underneath the bar that held you in. It was so much fun! We always made it a point to get together for lunch when I went back to Hawaii for visits. I will cherish the fun times we had together. You will be missed, my friend

In loving memory of a wonderful friend. I remember having fun at the beach and camp with Susan and Chelsea, and meeting her loving family and friends. We worked at the bank together before she joined the FBI. She was always bright and kind. I am sorry we lost touch. Rest in love my sweet friend!

Aloha to the Kim and Ogawa Ohana! I was traveling and missed Susan's celebration of her amazing life...I used to deliver Susan and Troys mail and had become very close to her...I heard thru a friend about her passing....my heart is so sad to hear she left us so early....I had retired Dec. 2022 and now spend most of my time at Sunset beach...She was so kind always and kept busy helping others and so appreciative when ever I called her to re-deliver pkgs....I will keep her beautiful memory in my heart...love and Aloha Kathy Myers

Susan was always a fun-loving and generous person. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing hula and Tahitian at various events. Susan was a great cook, had a green thumb, wonderful eye for design/interior decorating, and on top of that, she had many hands-on creative interests.
Susan worked for and retired from the FBI after over 34 years. She did well in her career and always spoke highly of her colleagues there.
She made many wonderful and dedicated friends from high school and throughout her life.
The most important thing about Susan was her big heart; she loved her family and was a dedicated mother to both of her daughters, Chelsea and Casie.
In memory of Susan, donations were made to DVAC Hawaii and the Hawaiian Humane Society.
