Susannah Villa Obituary

SUSANNAH TEHO VILLA Our dear precious mother, passed peacefully in her beloved home surrounded by family at the age of 95 on May 27, 2023. She was born in Kilauea, Kauai. The family later moved to the Big Island of Hawaii where she graduated from Pahala High School. Susannah was a Federal Civil Service employee and worked at various installations. Her last position before retiring was at Fort Shafter. After her retirement, Susannah involved herself in exercise classes at Kaimuki- Waialae YMCA led by Coralie Vellis, participated in lawn bowling at Ala Moana Beach Park, sewing for family and friends, playing bridge with ladies of Marina Towers, gardening, golfing, oil painting classes, reading, traveling and playing the Hawaiian version of Hanafuda taught by Helen Nakano. Susannah was a long-time member of Central Union Church. Susannah was preceded in death by her adoring husband Bernard, parents Fortunato & Susannah Teho, brother Fortunato Jr and sister Barbara Jean Schupp. Susannah is survived by daughters Lenore & Corinne and sister Patricia Ann Teho. A graveside inurnment will be held on October 3, 2023, at 2:00 In the Garden of Hope at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Reception to follow - Diamond Head Mortuary lanai. No flowers, no koden.
