SYLVIA SILVA Obituary

SYLVIA SILLY KEIKILANI SILVA Sylvia, 75, passed away at Adventist Health Castle Hospital in Kailua on January 6, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. Sylvia was born March 27, 1950, to the late Edith Paahau Johnston Henriques and Robert J. Silva, Sr. She was born and raised in Kane'ohe. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul "Butch" Kapuniai Jr, Wanetta Kapuniai Hee, Robert "Robbie" Silva, Jr. & Fay Johnston Oliva. Sylvia is survived by her sister, Gay Iijima (Jeffrey) and many nieces and nephews. Sylvia is a proud and dedicated retired employee for the C&C of Honolulu, Dept. of Community Svcs (DCS), Work Hawaii Division. With over 35 years in the social service field assisting people for training and employment. Her final role was the Dillingham Center Manager for O'ahu Work Links, retired November 2012. Services & Burial will be held on March 7, 2026 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery & Funeral Services; 10am Viewing; 11am Service; 2pm Committal/Burial Service.
