We visited my brother Todd and Karen when they lived in the Phoenix area. Teruko was living with them at the time. We went to the Frank Lloyd Wright site and school. Taliesen West. It was so much fun with Teruko, and because she was Japanese there were many nods to her by the staff of Taliesen as Frank Lloyd Wrights architecture held many attributes of the Japanese style.
The honor bestowed on Teruko had us feel like we were with royalty. That´s my very best memory of Teruko. She was also special for her smile and her laugh as well. There is a photo of Teruko and my Mom Margaret where they are sitting on a couch together with big smiles, and I know they were sharing a funny thought together.
