(Rapid City) "Jim" James Richard Heath, 82, passed away on September 12, 2025. A memorial mass is planned for Wednesday, September 17, 11 a.m. at St. Therese the Little Flower Church in Rapid City.

I met Jim in the bank I worked at in Gillette in the mid 1970´s and we became friends right away. He was my closest friend from then on, always so easy to talk with and fun to be around. Jim has a wonderful family and my wife Patricia and Jim´s family, Hannah, Veronica, Chris, and Val, went places and did so much together, in the mountains, at the farm. A strong but gentle man, riding a horse or helping others. He will be sorely missed.
