William Kishida Obituary

WILLIAM BILL KISHIDA William Y. Kishida passed away peacefully on February 3, 2024 in Pearl City. A bright, compassionate, family- oriented man, Bill was well known for his jovial smile. However, it was his sharp intellect that drew the attention of his eternal partner of 62 years, Elaine. After his discharge from the Air Force, William embarked on various entrepreneurial endeavors. He eventually joined the Air National Guard where he remained until his retirement. To his loved ones, Bill was a caring father and doting grandfather. His deep familial bonds were fostered through time spent together on cruises to foreign countries, road trips to national parks, weekends camping, and monthly family dinners. Always relied upon for his sagely advice, his sincerest wish was for his family to live a healthy, full, and happy life. He will be deeply missed and remembered. Survived by his wife Elaine, daughters Janet Okamura (Daryl), Terry Aoki (Lloyd), Carolyn Tanoue (Guy Minakami), brother Gary (Gail), nine grandchildren (Dayne, Janel, Reyn, Kyle, Corinna, Taylor, Cheyne, Chaz, Chanel) and predeceased daughter Ann Wong (Sheldon). A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 3:00 p.m. Service begins at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
