WILLIAM TETMEYER William Tetmeyer, 86, of St. Augustine, and resident of Honolulu for 42 years, passed away on July 30, 2023 in St. Augustine, FL. He was born on August 23, 1936 in New Haven, CT to the late Gus and Sonia Tetmeyer. William received his BA degree from The University of Connecticut. He worked for Travelers Insurance in Hartford, CT and Citi Bank in NYC. He then went to work at Bank of Hawaii in Honolulu. William enjoyed playing golf in his free time. He was diagnosed with juvenile Diabetes at age 23 and served as the Chairman on the Board of Diabetes Association in Honolulu. He also was past President for Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Honolulu. He is survived by his wife, Anne M. Orner Tetmeyer, 704 Berkshire Terrace, St. Augustine, Florida 32092. In honor of William donations can be made to, JDRF "Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Northern Florida" at 1850 Lee Road Suite 132, Winter Park, Florida 32789. Today Wednesday, 8/23/2023 would have been Mr. Tetmeyer's 87th birthday. I just found out today about his passing. I was Bill's Secretary over 14 + years at BOH. From Day 1, William Tetmeyer became my 2nd Father. With respect, he always was kind to my husband and two daughters. We will always have treasured and fond memories of Bill Tetmeyer.

Ann,
We sadly just learned of my cousin Bill´s passing yesterday. Please accept our sincere condolences. Joe and I enjoyed having breakfast with you and Bill this past winter, while traveling through St. Augustine. Bill was a nice man, we always loved to hear his memories of our grandparents, aunts, uncles, his parents and my parents as well. Rest In Peace Bill
