WON MUICO Obituary

WON SUK MUICO Age 89, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died on November 1, 2023. Born in Kunsan, South Korea, she lived in Seoul, South Korea and emigrated to the USA in 1995, residing in Honolulu, Hawaii. Won Suk owned and successfully ran a convenience store in the twilight years of her life and retired after 26 fruitful years. She considered her customers at Pensacola Mart family who provided her with emotional and social support, as well as keeping her active and lively. Won Suk is survived by those she was fiercely proud of: daughters Linda Kang Peloquin and Norma Kang Muico, Norma's husband Robert Ian Grimshaw, grandchildren Josephine Kang Peloquin and Dirk Kang Peloquin, and brother Kang Won Tae. Preceded in death was her husband, William Romero Muico, and sister, Kang Won Im. Graveyard service is open to family members, dear friends and customers, and will be held at Nuuanu Memorial Park on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10am.
