When I joined the enrollment staff at Valparaiso University, I was thrilled to have Yvonne´s enthusiastic support every day, not just to me, but to all the students and families who sought support. She gave 100+% everyday. Her son, Larry. and my son, Mark, were close friends. Our hearts broke for Larry and Yvonne when their son died. We will always remember how the Dembinski family enriched our lives and we´ll be forever grateful.

Yvonne Dembinski was one of the finest people I have ever met. And I will long remember her laugh and her smile. I'm not surprised her middle name was joy. Yvonne was as thoughtful and generous as she was beautiful. During my years in Hawaii she and Larry became more than friends, they were ohana and I am forever blessed and grateful to have called them friends.

Yvonne was one of the sweetest people I know. She smiled so much and was always decorating and making things look brighter in the world. She was always there to help and support.
