My name is August. The night of the accident I was in an Uber with my friend heading down town. During the drive we approached a traffic stop and I saw a group of people surrounding the middle of the street, I stepped out of the car and the closer I got a realize that it was somebody who had gotten into an accident. As people are standing around, I got down and immediately started trying to do breathing exercises with him, I held his head in my hands and kept talking to him and telling him everything is going to be okay and that help is coming. When the police arrived I was told to step aside but I stressed to them to be careful with his head as there was bleeding. I haven´t stopped thinking about him since I saw them take him away in an ambulance only to hear the news of his passing later that night. I want to extend my deepest sympathy and give you my number to talk. My father had just passed away a few days prior to zackarys passing from suicide and I feel the need to talk to your family and just communicate. My personal cellphone is (716)413-1055 and I´m available anytime. There are no words and nothing and no one can ease the pain of this loss but just know I´m here for you and your family and am more than willing to be, if anything, a listening ear.
