West Carthage- Ronald R. Hall, Sr. 74, of Jefferson Street, died peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at his home under the care of his family and Jefferson County Hospice. He was born on October 10, 1950, in Gouverneur, NY to the late Raymond E. & Dorothy (Burnett) Hall.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Lundy Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. His burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage, NY.
Ron attended Carthage High School. He worked in construction and drove a truck for St. Lawrence Freight and then retired as a driver in 2023 from Carthage Fibre Drum.
He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Deena Sixberry, of West Carthage; his children, Ronald Hall Jr. of Carthage, and Tammy Jo Hall of Carthage. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol & (John) Carson, Great Bend; Debra “Debbie” & (Doug) Marcellus, Harrisville; Ray (Cindy) Hall, Florida; Rod (JoDee) Hall, Carthage; Judd (Brenda) Hall, Whitesboro; and Brad (Kim) Hall, Florida. He is survived by his three grandchildren, Jordan, Samara, and Cody, and his three great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Ron was a lifetime member of the VFW in Carthage. he enjoyed driving trucks, plowing, and mowing lawns. He always kept himself busy.
He is predeceased by his parents, Raymond E. Hall, “Rooster Ray”, and his mother, Dorothy (Burnett) Hall Hartle.
