I worked with Tom at UC Davis in the Dept. Of Pomology in the 1950´s. We would go out to the experimental fruit trees at UCD and measure fruit. Will not forget him.

I knew Tom when we worked together in the Dept. of Pomology with Dr. Omund Lilleland as our boss back in the early 60´s. I admired his strength in enduring the internment when all Japanese citizens were rounded up and imprisoned in camps. I have good memories of Tom. He lived a good life with family and friends. I am happy that I found his story on the internet.
