BLANCHE HILL Obituary

BLANCHE ROSE HILL August 06, 1924 - December 31, 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Blanche Rose Borges Hill, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who transitioned peacefully on December 31, 2025 at the age of 101. She was born on August 6, 1924 in Honolulu, HI to Rose and Joseph Borges Medeiros, one of ten children. After a 25 year career at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel she moved to Los Angeles before retiring later relocating to Roanoke, VA to live with her granddaughter, LeeRay Costa. She raised two daughters Ina Ray Costa and Donna Vecchione (who precedes her in death). Her spirit and love will live on in her three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in Honolulu at a later date.
