Claire Teramoto Obituary

CLAIRE M. TERAMOTO 92, of Honolulu passed away on Oct 2, 2023 and is eternally with our Lord in Heaven. She was born on June 6, 1931. She was the ideal wife and mother raising three boys while living in: Honolulu, Hawaii; Champaign, Illinois; Tokyo, Japan; and Pacifica, California. She was very versatile in her many jobs in sales, educational food services, banking and ultimately retiring from the UH Sinclair Library in 1992. She was a long-time active member of Olivet Baptist Church and loved traveling the world with husband George. Claire and George were avid participants in the McKinley '49 reunions in Hawaii and Las Vegas. She loved to cook and did numerous crafts. She also loved to host social events with family and friends. Claire is survived by sons Craig (Jean), Ron (Laurie), and Michael (Tristen); grandchildren Kyla (Jared), Kelsey (Dan), Jaron, Stephanie (Christian), and Daniel; and great- grandchildren Micah and Karyssa. She is also survived by brothers Alvin (Pat) Morimoto, Edwin (Nora) Morimoto and sister-in-law Harriet Morimoto. She is preceded in death by her husband George and brother Robert Morimoto.
