Clare Takayama Obituary

CLARE F. TAKAYAMA 84, of Kaneohe a retired Travel and Flight Reservation Specialist for Pan American Airlines and SATO travel for the US Coast Guard has passed peacefully in her Kaneohe home on March 27, 2025. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1941 and moved to Honolulu in 1963. Married to Richard Takayama (deceased) for over 51 years, Clare is survived by her 4 children Kaimanu, Kawika, Moana Takayama and Joni Metras; Sister Jeane Kalaluhi; 4 Grandchildren, 5 Greatchildren. Clare's memorial service will be held at Nu'uana Memorial on May 16th at 5:30pm with food and drinks served following. Visitation will begin at 4:30pm. In lieu of gifts, flowers may be sent to Nu'uanu Memorial on the date of Service. A celebration of life will be held on May 17th at Ho'omaluhi'a Botanical Gardens in Kaneohe at site 'Kahua Lehua' (Campsites 11-16) from 12-3pm.
